Some time ago I came up with a new tuning, and named it Diminishift.
I think it could be very suitable for a.o. oriental tunes.

I got the idea from the diminished tuning that has been explored by
a.o. Ed Coogan and Alfred Hirsch (www.jazzbrutal.de/eng/)
* Holes 1 and 2 are half-valved, so you can bend down their blownotes.
This implies of course they cannot be overblown.
